The Richmond Arms is a magnificent 25 bedroom hotel nestling on the southern side of the Square in the tranquil village of Tomintoul. The town sits on the northern slopes of the Cairngorm Mountains and claims to be the highest village in the Highlands. Tomintoul today is an attractive village with grand stone-built buildings.

Distilling has played a significant role in the economy of the area. From Easter through to the end of October the Richmond Arms has a Guest real ale on draught, from one of the local micro breweries. They also carry a stock of bottled ales and beers from independent Scottish breweries, a large selection of Scottish Gin’s, Spirits, Liqueurs and Non-Alcoholic Drinks. Single malt Scotch Whisky is their passion. The bar offers over 250 Single Malt Scottish Whiskies from every region of Scotland as well as Independent Bottlings from around Scotland from companies such as Carn Mor and Gordan & Macphail.
